A pure logic mystery
Evidence of every kind: first letters and vowels, who signed above and below, alphabetical order, and "Either ... or" clues that keep you thinking. No two cases feel the same.
Thousands of suspects. One killer. Find their name.
Someone in Gullhaven is a murderer, and their name is hiding in the register. Inspector Ivy Marchbank brings you her clues; cross out every suspect the evidence rules out until one name is left standing. Then name the killer.

Last Name Standing
Every clue is exact and every clue is needed. Exactly one suspect fits them all.
Evidence of every kind: first letters and vowels, who signed above and below, alphabetical order, and "Either ... or" clues that keep you thinking. No two cases feel the same.
The Daily Case is the same mystery for every detective, every day. The Grand Register brings one enormous case a week, and the Census the whole town once a month.
Halloween on the haunted pier, a murder at the Christmas market, the spring fair and a summer by the sea: a new case every day of the event.
Thirty cases in three chapters, from your first morning at the Records Office to the storm that cuts Gullhaven off from the world.
Ivy's daily tasks, a sealed envelope every day, ten ranks from Clerk to Commissioner, achievements, and pencils and papers to collect.
