Zen Tiles

Your game.
Your privacy.

Your game progress is kept on your device and, if you use Google Play Games, in your Play Games account, so you can carry on on another phone. There is no player account or chat. The game shows advertising through Google's services and, with your consent and your switch on, sends play statistics to Google Analytics for Firebase; both are explained below.

Who provides the game?

Zen Tiles is provided by Havoc Forge Games, a trading name of Grey Kraken Ltd, company number 16162098, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 2 Bathurst Road, Coventry, United Kingdom, CV6 1HY. Grey Kraken Ltd is responsible for the information it handles to provide and support the game. For privacy questions and requests, email havocforgegames@gmail.com. This notice covers the Android game; the Havoc Forge Games website has its own notice.

Who the game is for

Zen Tiles is intended for players aged 13 and over. It does not ask your age or collect personal information from children.

Progress and settings

The game stores your progress, tile puzzle garden blooms, daily gifts, achievements and settings (sound effects, ambient chimes, vibration, reminders, reduced motion and play statistics) on your device. The game does not upload them to a studio server, and there are no player accounts, chat or player uploads. If you use Google Play Games, a copy of your progress is also kept in your Play Games account (see Saved games below). They remain until you reset the game, clear its storage or uninstall it. If your phone's backup is on, Android may include the game's save in it, and restoring the backup brings it back; this depends on your device settings, and we cannot promise recovery. We cannot read or delete a save held only on your device or in your Play Games account.

Sharing

Some cards (a garden blooming, completing weekly festivals, high-score puzzles) have a Share button. It creates a picture of your garden tile achievement and a line with a link to the game, and opens your phone's own share menu. You choose whether and where to send it; the game sends nothing by itself and keeps only the latest picture in its own storage on your phone.

Reminders

If you turn them on (the game asks once, and there is a switch in Settings), the game schedules a few reminders on your phone when you leave it: for example when your daily challenge is ready or weekly festival blossoms. There are at most two for each time you leave, none at night, and they are all cancelled when you come back. Your phone schedules and shows them; nothing is sent to us or anyone else. On Android 13 and later, Android asks for your permission first. You can turn reminders off at any time in the game's Settings or in your phone's notification settings.

Leaderboards (Google Play Games)

If you use Google Play Games on your phone, the Leaderboard shows where you rank against other players worldwide. Play Games signs you in automatically if you already use it, or when you tap Sign in with Play Games. Only then does the game send Google Play Games your high scores and completed puzzle levels. It also shows the boards: other players' Play Games names and scores, and yours to them.

Google Play Games handles your Play Games profile (your gamer name and picture) and the scores under Google's privacy policy. You choose who can see your Play Games activity in the Play Games app or your Google Account. If you do not sign in, nothing is sent.

Saved games (Google Play Games)

If you are signed in to Google Play Games, the game saves a copy of your puzzle progress to your Play Games account with Google's Saved Games service. On another phone signed in to the same account, the game restores your progress. Google keeps your saved games under its own privacy policy; they never reach a studio server.

Play statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To see how the game is played and make it better, the game can send play statistics to Google Analytics for Firebase. They are sent only when both of these are true:

What is sent: what happens in the game, such as completing garden levels, matching triplets, daily challenges, which reward videos you watch, which purchases you make (the product, never payment details) and minutes of play. Never sent: anything you type, your advertising ID, your Android ID, your email address or your Google Account.

Turning it off: switch off Share play statistics in Settings, or withdraw your consent in Ad privacy choices.

Advertising

Personalised ads and your choices. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choices before any ad is requested. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time in Settings, Ad privacy choices.

Purchases

The game offers optional purchases (No Ads, Starter Pack, and Piggy Bank) through Google Play. Google Play handles the payment under its own terms and privacy policy; we never see your card or payment details. Settings includes a Restore purchases button to restore previous purchases.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Because the game keeps your data on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the game's storage or uninstalling it. For play statistics, use Settings, Share play statistics. For advertising data, use Settings, Ad privacy choices. You can contact us at havocforgegames@gmail.com. In the UK you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Emails to us

If you email us, we receive your email address and message content, which we use solely to provide support.

Changes

If the game changes how it handles information, we will update this notice and the date above before that version is released.
